Biographies of the Dead and Dying (Vancouver Fringe Festival)

JT loves the Vancouver International Fringe Festival though we never have gone together. My ex used to ALWAYS ask me to attend (which I did, for the most part), and anyone who reads my blog knows that I’ve been an ardent supporter of local theatre, so I figured I’d highlight an interesting project from Andrew Templeton.

Biographies of the Dead and Dying

Biographies of the Dead and Dying is part of this year’s Fringe Festival, with an impressive team that has Jeremy Waller directing and Heather Lindsay and Simon Driver in the cast. Andrew emailed me indicating “our goal is to turn the Havana theatre into a haunted house with sound design by Emma Hendrix, Kyla Gardiner doing lights and Nina Prelog as our costumed designer”. You can check the preview video here.

To win tickets to any night of Biographies of the Dead and Dying just drop a comment here. Since opening night is Thursday, I won’t be able to attend, but I’ll be checking it out other nights. Biographies runs from September 10th to the 19th, so check it out! Tickets are $10.00 (weekday) $12.00 (weekend); half-price on Opening Night and you can purchase them online or in person.

Looking forward to the Fringe (starts today! yay!) and this show looks really good. The toughest thing is always having to make the choice which shows to see!

Sign me up for the draw. :) Looks great. Ain’t in my budget to catch the Fringe this year, but here’s hoping it has a very successful time.
