Better Now by @Collective_Soul (music)

One of the many things I have to thank my friends Twitter for is introducing me to Blip.fm and to Collective Soul. I didn’t realize that Collective Soul’s music was categorized as “post grunge”. Well, I’m glad I now follow their music, and one of my favorite tunes is “Better Now”. Collective Soul is also on Twitter! (I love that musicians are adopting social media)

I found a version that is a half-step below with the Atlanta Youth Orchestra. I like both versions, but I find that some musicians tend to go a half-beat below often times. I wonder why this is.

“Youth” was the last CD purchase I ever made and only because of this particular track. Oh the memories.

I haven’t bought any Collective Soul music in years, though I was a big fan in the late 90s and the early part of this decade. Perhaps it’s time to check them out again?
