@PurdysChocolate – a class act

For my Blogathon, Purdy’s Chocolates (a Vancouver-based chocolate factory, whose plant I had a chance to tour when I did my MBA) were kind enough to give me a basket of chocolates (which I would have totally shared with my fellow Blogathoners but I got to WorkSpace too late, etc. – I still have them and I plan to share/redistribute). I hadn’t opened the box yet as I was waiting to organize my fellow bloggers and distribute the chocolates, but now that I did, I just read the card and my eyes teared up. They really ARE very classy. Here’s the text of the card:

Good luck with your fundraiser and tell Derek to stay strong. We wish him and those battling cancer all the best. Purdy’s Chocolates

I felt really supported through Blogathon, and I will also thank my other corporate supporters, including Molson and the BC Cancer Foundation itself.
