Close to the finish line
Every single post as time progresses becomes less coherent, as you can tell. Personally, I feel that really doesn’t really reflect who I am. I am exhausted, I don’t really have much energy to write, let alone any brain cells. What would I write about then, if my topic is passion?
Well, as you could see from the previous 47 posts, there’s one inner passion that drives me – finding cures to cancer. I worked for a biotechnology company that created drugs to attack very specifically several types of tumors. I have studied the mechanisms through which anti-cancerous drugs work. And more importantly, I continue to be focused in the topic.
I have a vested interest in finding a cure – I have lost two aunties and one of my grandmothers to this lethal disease. I seriously hope that my efforts trying to raise funds for the BC Cancer Foundation can yield us some results!
