Gary Jones from BlueFur invited me to be a speaker at the forthcoming WordCamp Fraser Valley (I spoke at the previous year’s WordCamp Fraser Valley). I have some experience with WordPress, having blogged on this platform (the free version, WordPress.com) since March 2008, and self-hosted since early November 2008. I have been learning a lot and growing as I’ve continued using the platform. With the help of many friends in the community, I have created my own research site, re-theme it, and make it do what I want it to do.
