Music – I Didn’t Mean to Turn You On (Robert Palmer)

I strongly believe that Robert Palmer was a genius, someone who was taken from us way too early. I absolutely adored a number of his tunes, from “Addicted to Love” to “Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology Song)”. One of the beauties of being on social networking sites that link across platforms is that the people I follow both on Twitter and on Blip.fm have great musical tastes. At some point I think it was Jules who blipped “I Didn’t Mean to Turn You On”, the song that originally was sung by Cherrelle (R&B singer). Quite frankly, I prefer Palmer’s version. If I go out dancing with my friends in the near future, I will request that this song be in the play list! Enjoy the video courtesy of YouTube providers.
