Mission accomplished: This was a wonderful weekend
Those of you who were on Twitter early on Saturday realized that I just had this frantic desire to start cleaning up my apartment. 
I felt that it was a necessary step in the process of launching my summer projects. I am a Virgo and by nature, I tend to be obsessively clean. But the past few weeks were so hectic I neglected my apartment so bad it was really embarrassing (for some people, the level of cleanliness of my apartment would be acceptable, but for me it wasn’t). So I decided to start with cleaning my bathroom (ALL of it – bathtub, toilet, sink, toiletries cabinet, supplies cabinet), then followed by the pantry and cupboards (threw a lot of stuff that was never going to be used), swept floors, washed all dishes, cleaned up stove, fridge, washed floors, etc. So, right now my living room, bathroom, kitchen and dining room are all in optimal condition (and I thus feel comfortable enough to invite people over to my very small, tight and cramped apartment). But fear not, because I did also have some fun along the way. I’ll give more details about my weekend later in the week, as right now I’m exhausted and I’m supposed to be asleep already.

Sometimes cleaning can feel so zen. By the time you are done not only is your house in order but I generally find my overall mindset is better–perhaps by de-cluttering our homes we help to de-clutter our minds as well?

I am definitely not as clean as you, I tend to only do a “good cleaning” every couple months… and keep my place in a somewhat livable state until then
Can’t believe you clear out all the cabinets to clean!
It does feel better though afterwards, doesn’t it?
I did some cleaning this weekend too, and had a party, and relaxed! All in all pretty good
