Pride Toronto this week (June 22nd-28th)

I am proud to live in a country (Canada) that recognizes that love is love no matter your gender, and whose government acknowledges same-sex marriages. Canadian Pride celebrations are usually magical, full of glitter, positive energy and love. Pride Toronto is taking place this week and the actual Pride parade is this coming Sunday, June 28th). While I have not been to Toronto for Pride, I’ve always had a soft spot for this gorgeous city. Many good friends of mine live there and I’d seriously consider moving there given how many academic centers and universities are located there. I hope everyone gets to celebrate Toronto Pride.
