On being myself
A few posts ago, my dear friend Erika Rathje asked me how do I answer to anybody who asks what I write about. I’ve always been honest in saying that I write about myself. That’s exactly what my blog is about.
I’ve been writing on this canvass for almost 3 and a bit years. I have exposed some of my most intimate thoughts. I have built a community of people around my beliefs. I have shared what I believe in. I am exactly the same person in real life, there is no “brand” or “image” around it.
This is who I am. Sensitive, smart, geeky, but more than anything, I am someone (as my Dad very wisely said) whose capacity to think is only surpassed by his capacity to love.
I am brilliant, I know that. I am talented, I am hot and I am sweet. I just need to move to the next step. Here is a toast to that next step, whatever it may be.
