Thanks Greg and Pat Aspa for your hospitality in Vancouver Island

I had a wonderful time on Vancouver Island, not only because I had a chance to attend the meetings I was planning on, but also because I got a chance to spend a couple of days with Greg and Pat Aspa (from Aspa Photo), whom I also met through Twitter. Their kind hospitality and warmth made an absolute difference between having to stay at a hotel/bed-and-breakfast/hostel and staying with them.

Greg and Pat invited me for dinner and took me everywhere, including picking me up from the ferry and taking me back. We did a little tour of Sidney by the Sea (by foot) and around the Greater Victoria (including Mile Zero, which I had been wanting to see for the longest time). Even my cell phone went into roaming mode! We really weren’t in international (US) waters but your cell goes into roaming when you’re close to Mile Zero. Very cool, I have to say.

Thanks so much Greg and Pat for your kindness, warmth and hospitality, and I’ll see you guys very soon! Hugs and lots of positive vibes from Vancouver.
