Out of commission: Welcome back, migraine! Long time no see.
Even though I’ve thoroughly tried to keep myself in good form, and cancelled a number of social events when I’m not feeling all too well, and so on, these last two days I’ve been having very little sleep (I’m stressed, as you can imagine, and I’m also over-worked). This obviously led to the return of Ms. Migraine, an old foe of mine, who had been making relatively few visits to my head. You can imagine how gleefuly I said hi… NOT!
Now that Ms. Migraine is back, I’ve needed to have way more sleep and thus have to have a few naps to compensate for the lack of sleep and to enable me to feel better. I feel bad because I stood up friends that I love and adore but I woke up way past the time of our appointment.
So, if I cancel on you in the next few days, it’s not personal, it’s not about you, it’s about Ms. Migraine. She is a demanding girl. Although come to think about it … could you please tell her to leave me alone? Please, and thank you.

*feel better*
Have you tried taking the preventitive herb Feverfew? My mom suggested it to me after being plagued by migraines for 2 years after a car accident. You take it daily for 3 months. I did, and had 2 migranes during those 3 months, and have not had another migraine in well over 15 years.
I hope you feel better soon, mi amico!
