The 2nd Annual Run for Water
Via Doug Van Spronsen and Jered Love (Water Drop) I met Jet Takaoka (HOPE International, and Run for Water) who then informed me about Abbotsford’s 2nd Annual Run for Water. This event, that takes place on May 31st, 2009, is a wonderful fundraising opportunity. From their site:
Run For Water is an Abbotsford based nonprofit society dedicated to staging a high-calibre running event. The directors of Run For Water share the goal of promoting healthy physical activity and community spirit as well as raising funds for clean water development in under-privileged communities.

I had a chance to meet Jet and Ken at the WaterDrop event where I spoke about the state of Canada’s water governance. You can learn more about the various races (half maraton, 10k and 5k fun run) on their site too. Hope to see you there!

Cool, I had this on my fun run roundup but I should have mentioned something about this to you as well since you are *the* water guy!
Are you going to run it? Walk it? Let me know
