Blogging for Beginners: A Raincoaster Media course, May 2nd, 2009

Lorraine Murphy, Skookumchuk of Raincoaster Media, invited me a few months ago to be a guest lecturer in her courses. I have now risen in the ranks and currently am a Teaching Associate for RCM. Her next course, Blogging for Beginners, takes place on Saturday May 2nd, 2009 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. You can check the outline here.

In the near future, I will be teaching two modules:
- Google Tools (which includes Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Scholar and GMail/GTalk)
- Twitter Tools (which includes TweetDeck, HootSuite, Twhirl).

A couple more cool tools for you to check out: Seesmic Desktop does some things even better than TweetDeck

And Flock keeps making their social media brower better and better….

Thanks! Much appreciated. The class is about half-full at this point. We really do need to do some postering.
