Vancouver Law Day – April 25th, 2009
Via Nicole Garton-Jones (BC Heritage Law) I found out about Vancouver Law Day. Unfortunately, it falls right on the same day as Mental Health Camp so I won’t be able to attend. However, I’m more than happy and delighted to share these pieces of information with my readers. Both my parents are lawyers, so I’m always delighted to collaborate with smart folks in the legal profession (like I’m doing now with BC Vote).
On Saturday, April 25th from 10AM to 3PM all residents of the Greater Vancouver area are invited to come down to the Central Vancouver Public Library, located at 350 West Georgia Street (between Homer, Hamilton and Robson Streets). At Law Day, the public can learn what the justice system is doing to keep us safe on the streets and in our homes while upholding the rights of all Canadians under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
