Media Democracy Wiki project

I’m always interested in issues of democratization. Although my research has focused more on citizen participation in environmental public policy, I am also interested in media democracy (given that for the past three years, I’ve started to do some new media work).

I know my friends Steve Anderson, Rodger Levesque and Kate Milberry are involved, and it does relate to Media Democracy Day 2009. I’ll keep you posted on what I hear. For now, I think you would be interested in learning about the Media Democracy Wiki so why don’t you mosey over and check it out?

And if you are an organization/company that would be interested in sponsoring, please check their Sponsorship page. As someone who organizes events on a regular basis, I frequently need to ask for sponsorships, so I know how tough it is to raise funds for events like this, that are 100% volunteer-run. We don’t profit from these events, so any support would be great.
