Projecting Change Film Festival – April 2-5, 2009

My 2009 has been so overbooked that unless somebody brings stuff to my attention, sometimes I fail to remember some excellent stuff that is happening in town, even when it’s associated with my own work! So, hat tips to Trevor O, who reminded me of the Projecting Change Film Festival, which this year takes place from April 2nd to the 5th, 2009.

Last year, you might remember that I covered Projecting Change (thanks to the organizing folks who kindly gave me media access). This year, I’m going to ask them again if they’ll invite me and also, I’m going to see if I can have some free tickets for my readers to give away in a contest.

Check the schedule of films and speakers (erm, why didn’t they invite me to be a speaker? hehehe). To learn more about the festival, click here. The full festival pass is $ 80 and single screening passes are $ 10. The opening night exclusive event is $ 50.

I know that they’ll be showing Blue Gold (I reviewed the film on my blog as well) and a number of other excellent films. I should make a point of commenting Blue Gold at the festival!
