Mental Health Camp website and registration live!

Well, it’s definitely happening. Thanks to Isabella, we now have a dedicated website for all things Mental Health Camp (I’ll be managing the website) and I’ve created the EventBrite site for the registration. Please spread the word, and register early as we estimate it will be sold out! As indicated, attendance is by donation (collected at the door), but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.

Thanks also to Cathy Browne for her hard work and excellent copywriting skills which helped create the press release – we will have it ready early next week. So, mark your calendars, April 25th, 2009 (9am – 6pm, WorkSpace), Mental Health Camp is happening!. Thanks to sponsors, organizers, volunteers!

I’ve passed it along to Gallery Gachet, which works with artists who have mental health issues. They’re interested, so give me the press release as soon as you have it; they want a flyer or something I can dummy up.

I wish I could be in Vancouver for this event. Good job Raul, and evevryone else who/will be invovled. This is such an important issue, it cannot be stressed enough.

Great job with this. Let me know if you need any promo (such as tweets and things) as I’d be happy to help get the word out about this, y’all are such a great group of people.
