Great brunch, friends’ birthdays and farewells and a bankruptcy

I had the pleasure of attending the farewell for my good friend Phaedra last night, a brunch with Julie Wright, Gus and Russ and I know today is my good friends’ AF and Karen Parker’s birthdays. I just came home to find that I have a gazillion emails to respond, lots of Twitter @ replies and messages, RSS feeds unread and blog posts that I want to write but I don’t have the energy to do so.

Therefore, I hereby declare blogging, Twitter, email and RSS bankruptcy. I’ll get to it when I get to it. If we have something urgent to talk about, I’ll be monitoring my email for those messages, and I’ll still have some content for upcoming events that are rather important.

But other than critical stuff, like Women in Film Festival on Wednesday, I’ll be pretty much MIA. So, please don’t expect a timely response from me unless we’re working on a joint project. I know you all understand because at one point or another, you’ve been there.
