The Vancouver Blogger Meetup of January 2009 recap is up!

And following tradition, Jan Karlsbjerg (who also has a PhD, but his is in computer science) has written an excellent recap of the Vancouver Bloggers Meetup January meeting at The End Cafe. In my opinion, it was very well attended and I am quite pleased with the end result.

I did notice that it was slightly noisy but they (The End Cafe) did everything they could to accomodate us and they gave us the best location, so all in all, no reason to complain. Hope you all had as much fun as I did. Thanks to The End Cafe owners and staff for being so accomodating and to Barbara Doduk for recommending it!

Thanks to Mandy Gratton and Pete Quily for speak to the various types of blogging that there is out there (mommy blogging in the case of Mandy and ADHD in the case of Pete)

Hi Raul,

thanks for asking me to speak, it’s a good idea to have highlight a few bloggers at every meeting. Also good idea to have a quick go around with people’s name and blog, esp at such a big meeting. ie standing room only. I had a great time.
