A case of the Mondays
This weekend I wanted to do OH SO MUCH WORK and of course, it didn’t happen. But at least, some parts of the weekend were awesome, like catching up with a few friends I haven’t seen in almost a month (including Tanya, who had been in Florida for her half-marathon).
I was feeling restless all night and worried about the fact that I have an event Every.Single.Night.Of.The.Week. But you know what? I’m not going to let that worry me. It’s Monday, I’m alive and well, and I’m heading into the office to give it my all.
How is YOUR Monday? And what are you looking forward this week?

is it too early to be looking forward to friday already?
It’ll be another busy week at the office for me. Another 80 hours or so, but hey I work hard and hopefully I’ll be moving on up
Well, Wil gets laid off this week, and then he is having shoulder surgery on Friday. So…
We’ve known about the layoff for a long long time. It’s time to just get it over with. And the surgery we’ve been waiting for since this summer. So, oddly, I am looking forward to getting both of those over with.
Hmm, well I woke up and found my pipes spitting out brown water so I couldn’t take a shower and since I didn’t feel like going out smelling bad I’ve been home ever since.
I spent 3.5 hours at the Cat Sanctuary last night (avoided getting peed on). It was a great way to start the week (after my day job).
As for what I am looking forward to all week… Tonight I am donating to the Food Bank and getting to see a great band play one of it’s last shows ever and to see my Best Friend who I haven’t seen in a month. Tomorrow I might just make an appearance at the Meetup if I am not too zonked. Friday night I am back volunteering at the Richmond Animal Protection Society Cat Sanctuary after work. Birthday party Saturday night. Helping friends move Sunday… it’s a busy busy life. Thanks for asking.
@ everyone – thanks! I am SO glad it’s Tuesday now
