BuddyPress Beta Release
My friend Andy Peatling is the head developer behind BuddyPress (think Facebook meets WordPress). BuddyPress is a set of plugins that transforms a WordPress MultiUser (WPMU) into a social networking platform.
I signed up for the TestBP site a few weeks ago, but since Andy released the Beta on December 15th, I think I’ll have to learn more about the WPMU and the set of plugins. You can download BuddyPress’ beta here.
Congratulations to Andy and the WordPress community at large! We’ll have to do celebratory beers upon my return.
