Blitzkrieg Christmas Shopping

My friend ML is great at finding amazing bargains and great gifts for those of us whose budgets are fairly tight. Christmas shopping was always a nightmare for me because I love giving good gifts and I would buy gifts for everyone in the family (sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, etc.) Since I’m spending my Christmas in Calgary I am not buying gifts for everyone in the family, but I still needed to buy a few (not so expensive) items.

Well, ML met me today at a store in the Commercial Drive/Grandview area, and we went and did pretty much all my Christmas shopping in an hour. NOT KIDDING YOU. I was really shocked, and very grateful (and my wallet was too!). That’s what I call a Blitzkrieg Christmas Shopping spree!

Oy vay, Raul. Not sure if Blitzkrieg and Christmas really belong in the same title. :-)

Glad to see you’re already back from your self-imposed hiatus.
