I’ve said it numerous times, I am very lucky for being part of the local Vancouver tech community because I’ve learned a lot from my peers. A particular group of people within the larger community that I find particularly sweet AND enabling is the Tazzu community, led by my friends Rastin Mehr and Jen Duguay.  Both of these folks have been up to their eye-balls with work, so I was very happy to see them organize a social function and not have to over-work themselves.

I was very happy to see familiar faces and friends of mine, including Tris Hussey, Monica Hamburg, Tanya Davis, John Chow (who unfortunately is, at the time of writing, at the hospital because of some sort of gallbladder stone), and Teresa Matheson.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay for long as I had a gazillion things to do, but I look forward to the next event!
