Splitz is getting a liquor license!
Last Friday I had a chance to go back to Splitz (my favorite burger joint in Vancouver, located at Main and 26th) with K and L, two of my best (and longest-known) friends in Vancouver. We were reminiscing about a lot of stuff, particularly the fact that, no matter how many people have come in and out of our lives, we three have managed to stay friends for over a decade. Good times indeed. That night was the first one that I felt alive and well again.
When we finished our burgers (which are consistently amazing), we managed to sit down and talk with one of the owners for a short while. She was explaining that Splitz was in the process of getting a liquor license. I would think this would be good, particularly for those of you who like a beer with your burger. They said they’d have the license by Tuesday or Wednesday, which is great. So, head over and have a burger and a beer! (and if you drink, drink responsibly!)
