Current charitable events

As you may have noticed, I removed the “stickiness” of the charitable events that my friends are organizing. This was a temporary measure while were travelling around Vancouver for National Digital Media Day (read my posts from NDMD here and Rebecca’s here). I have moved those posts temporarily to the page “Current Fundraisers“). I’ll bring them back to the front page on Monday.

Please check the page out and contribute to one or both of the causes if you can/want. Just as a reminder, Tanya is organizing a comedy night on Wednesday October 8th, 2008 fundraising for Team Diabetes, and Kulpreet is organizing the premiere of the movie “The Widow Colony” on Friday October 3rd and Saturday October 4th.

EDIT – Also, since Rebecca is continuing with the collection of non-perishable food items for the Vancouver Food Bank (part of her effort for NDMD ‘08 as well), please feel free to bring some items to the BarCamp party tonight or to BarCamp tomorrow as well. Thanks in advance.
