Más vale beber vino que aceite de ricino!
I found this saying at a really cute restaurant called “El Chahuistle” and it’s definitely a mantra that many of my Vancouver (and non-Vancouver) friends would use. The translation is “it’s better to drink wine than castor oil”. Since it rhymes, it sounds cute 
And there will be plenty of alcohol in the weeks to come!
