Shame on you, Vancouver, and your wasteful ways!
Steve and Rodney put me on the vlogging train since I got my Flip camera, and I’ve been taking it pretty much everywhere I go. As I was walking back on Quebec St. from a lovely lunch with Tanya, I noticed that the tracks of the Street Car near Science World and the Main St./Science World Skytrain were littered (below is the video I uploaded on YouTube).
I am, as always, annoyed when anybody praises the great, clean, green ways of Vancouver and then I see things like these. I also get annoyed when people tell me “oh but climate change is such a big issue”. Hello? See below? People need to change their behavioral patterns in ALL aspects of environment protection, not only climate change, but also their wasteful patterns in regards to water consumption, energy consumption and trash generation! Grrr…
[EDITOR'S NOTE - My YouTube isn't working well so you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see the video. Ooops.]
