Should I just cave in and create a Facebook profile already?

I did a quick Twitter poll re: whether I should join Facebook or not. In previous posts, I have pondered whether or not I should do it. The general response is “yes, you should”. I do feel that if I create a Facebook profile, it has to be SUPER private, have pretty much NO information whatsoever, and it would probably be something like “Raul, aka Hummingbird604″ as a name (with my GMail as login). Still, I kind of want to hear options/suggestions/recommendations. Thanks
