Happy Father’s Day
My Dad and I have a loving yet complicated relationship. We are very similar, yet we differ in so many ways. One thing we always have agreed upon, though, is the immense love we have for each other. We may distance ourselves from each other but we always come back. I just wish he wasn’t 6,000 km away from me so that we could spend some time together. He hates traveling so I always have to fly back to Mexico to see him.
My brothers have children and are now fathers, and I am always amazed at how much they love their children. I am very proud of them, and I wish that, when the time comes and I become a father, I will be a good one. I am a very loving man, and thus I would think that I would make a great Dad. To all the Dads around, bloggers and civilians, whatever you do and wherever you are, have a wonderful Father’s Day.
