Carlo Rossi Rosso Frescatto 2009 #WineWednesday

I haven’t had a chance to write about some of the Mexican wines I have been sampling while I’ve been here, but as I went shopping with my Mom the other day, I mentioned to her that it was really an emergency and that sometimes I did need a glass of wine to unwind (I’m not a really heavy drinker, and she knows this, so that’s why she never keeps wine in her house). We stumbled upon (literally) a bottle of Carlo Rossi Rosso Frescatto 2009, which I am loving. It’s not really rose, its more like a sweet red, and it’s delicious served cold. Also inexpensive. I wouldn’t serve this on a fancy meal, but it’s decent to sip while writing.
