Pride Toronto 2012 (June 22nd-July 1st)

Today is the Pride Parade in Toronto, and I know this not only because several friends of mine are in Toronto right now enjoying the festivities, but also because I often use Toronto as a case study of people who are extremely liberal and open minded who have a rather conservative Mayor, who (counter to British Columbia’s Mayors) has never openly given Toronto queer folks his wholehearted support.

I’m proud that my Torontonian friends are so supportive of Toronto Pride and of queer folks. Happy Pride 2012, Toronto!
