The Nelson Gnome (on Nelson Street, West End)
I’m sure many of you may have spotted it, but does anybody actually know the history behind this cute little thing? JT and I were walking around the West End today after dinner at Wild Garlic (SO GOOD, blog post forthcoming) and I noticed it. Much to my surprise, it appears that I’m not the only one who noticed it, definitely. JT had already seen it more than once. I had seen the little mushroom quasi-gnome house on Barclay, but this one, was totally a surprise to me. I’d love to hear from you if you’ve ever come across it.

I came across this by accident one morning as I was walking to work. It put a smile on my face and made me feel like a kid again. I realized how little it takes to brighten someone’s day and hoping I can come up with something that does what the Gnome did for me that day!
