Brunch at Salt Spring Inn (Salt Spring Island)
I wanted to try the Treehouse Cafe at Salt Spring Island when I recently visited but the line was way too long and we had to get back to the Salt Spring Island Documentary Film Festival, so my friend Deirdre Rowland and I went for brunch to the Salt Spring Inn, a couple of blocks away from the Treehouse Cafe.
I’ll have to say I was thoroughly impressed. While the food was great (scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and ham on a toasted bagel, $10), I was even more impressed with the service. We said we were in a rush and our food was literally on our table within 3 minutes of having ordered. THAT is what I call service! Fantastic brunch, spacious room and overall a great experience.
Disclosure: I paid for our brunch on my own dime. I wasn’t paid to write this review, nor was I required to do so either. In any review I write or publish on my site, I retain editorial control at all times. Should you have any questions/concern feel free to contact me via e-mail through my contact form.

I am amazed that ordering anything on Salt Spring could take only 3 minutes to arrive
I agree, the food at the Inn is good. It’s never disappointed me, anyways.
Three minutes is pretty amazing service for anywhere – and amazing if that anywhere is on Salt Spring Island.
Will try the Inn next time I visit my folks – I usually go to the Treehouse.
