Relish Gastropub & Bar (Downtown Vancouver)
I celebrated my birthday at Relish Gastropub last year (after a failed attempt at La Bodega). I’m pretty sure it was here where I had a 3 oz martini, even though apparently that is not on their menu anymore. But at any rate, JT and I were looking for a restaurant to eat relatively fast and in the vicinity of downtown (as we were heading to the opera right after to the world premiere of Lillian Alling).
So, I recommended Relish Gastropub & Bar and I am glad we did as the service was great, and the food was very, very reasonable. I ordered a Pub Burger ($15) although instead of ordering a side of salad or fries, I ordered chicken soup. Which, while tasty, was probably a mistake. But the food was great, and we had a great time. The burger is outstanding. This is a solid place for a quick bite or a drink when downtown.
