Galileo Coffee (Squamish, BC)
When I decide to get out of the city, Squamish is usually one of my top go-to destinations. It’s close enough, I have lots of friends who live there (Lisa Thomas-Tench and her husband, Cinci Csere and her husband, and a couple of other friends), and in general I find Squamish cute. But the one thing that totally stands out every time I have driven (or been driven) up there is the coffee shop I had never stopped at.
Until a couple of weeks ago.
Galileo Coffee offers some of the best coffee that I have tasted, and the decor is so cute I can’t stop gloating about it. It’s a great point even for tourists, I think.

Love Galileo Coffee! The expresso is awesome. This is our typical pit stop before heading out climbing in Squamish.
EVERY time I drive through Squamish this place catches my eye and I’ve been meaning to stop in. Thought they did ice cream too?
Galileo is THE best coffee I have ever had, in the world. They roast their own beans there so they must have the process perfected.
And on a quaint note, I used to stop in every Monday morning on my way back up to Whistler and get the same thing (soy maple latte and a morning glory muffin). They always had my order started when I walked in the door. Love them.
We are also fans of Galileo coffee, our favorite local coffe shop serves it. This is a cute looking cafe and have ear-marked to pop in next time we are in the area. Hopefully over the holidays. Thanks
