Win tickets to the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival Opening Night Film #VLAFF @vlaff
I love the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival, and lucky for me, they love me back. VLAFF has kindly generously given me 3 (three) pairs of tickets to the opening night film, Los Viajes del Viento (The Wind Journeys), Spanish with English subtitles / 117 min (Colombia/Netherlands/Argentina/Germany, 2009). Opening night for VLAFF is September 2nd, at Empire 7 Cinemas on Granville Street. The trailer for Los Viajes del Viento is shown below.
To enter this giveaway, you can do one of two things. The first, simply drop a comment on this post indicating which one of the numerous films of VLAFF are you looking forward or interested in seeing. There is a fabulous lineup you can check here. I will be drawing three (3) random winners on Tuesday August 31st at 4pm, from all entries (Twitter and blog). The second mode of entry is to tweet the following sample (you can do either or, or both):

I am really looking forward to seeing many of the VLAFF 2010 films – particularly as I know that there will be several Mexican productions. VLAFF takes place from September 2nd to the 12th, 2010. For more information on VLAFF and how to purchase tickets you can check their Facebook and Twitter presences.

I’d enjoy watching any of the films, but particularly the Brazilian entries: “É Proibido Fumar” or “Lula, Filho do Brasil”.
Hope I win the tickets!

I’d like to watch “MERCEDES SOSA CANTORA, UN VIAJE INTIMO” because she’s a fascinating artist.
It’s worth mentioning that some of the movies offer Free Admission.

The link in the Twitter message is wrong.
I missed out on this festival last year but would love to attend this year, the movie I’d like to see is Rabia as the story line seems interesting.
Would love to go!
Oh an Argentinian film, well I have to see that then after all I am Argentinian

Being Argentinian and knowing personally the great artist Mercedes Sosa I would definitely enjoy watching her Viaje Intimo.
Would love to see all of the films, but looking forward to catching a documentary (maybe La Vida Loca or Havanyork) or Retratos en un de Mentiras or los Dioses Rotos. And of course Los Viajes del Viento if I win tickets.
I want to see Los Viajes del Viento!!
I think Contracorriente (Undertow) looks like a good movie.
UPDATE -
The three winners are Guacira, Gus and Alia. Congratulations!
