From downtown Vancouver to North Vancouver
I really love North Vancouver. I have previously blogged about how much I love this city. It’s close to downtown Vancouver, it has a lot of really good restaurants, shops. You can hang out in their parks, and hike in the nearby mountains. I love Deep Cove, Lonsdale Quay, and the Grouse area. Moreover, I have lots of really good friends in North Vancouver, including Dave Olson, Ianiv and Arieanna Schweber, Robert Scales, Michelle Evans, to name just a few.
I commute by SeaBus to North Vancouver, and sometimes the photos I take (despite the fact that they are only iPhone photos) remind me of how pretty is the area where I live. So here’s a more-or-less wordless post about my SeaBus trip to North Van.

I do love the Seabus. I worked in North Van for just over six years, and had figured out at one point I’d taken nearly 2000 trips. Even after that it doesn’t lose some of its magic.
I love the Seabus too, Todd – it is, as you said, magical. Soon as I leave the vessel, I feel like I’m in a different world. Not sure why, but it’s beautiful.
Hello hummingbird, next time you are in lower lonsdale drop by my restaurant the Moustache Cafe and say hi!
