Win tickets to the Opening Ceremonies of the Paralympics with @PowerSmartBC and @hummingbird604

As you may know, the Power Smart Village of BC Hydro will stay open during the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games (see my friend Rebecca’s guide to the Paralympics) The kind folks at BC Hydro have been kind enough to give me a pair of tickets to the Opening Ceremonies of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games on March 12th at BC Place at 6pm to give away. I am pretty excited, as I’m a big fan of Paralympic sports.

I didn’t get to the Power Smart Village during the Olympics but I did see the laneway house at Live City Yaletown that was very interesting and a beautiful design. Wish they could build some of those up in Whistler.

Amazingly, I’ll be back in Vancouver again during this period. Might as well take advantage.

You know, there was so much happening during the Olympics that I couldn’t, for the life of me, remember where I had to be (and take a picture) to earn the 2 entries for Miss604s contest during the Winter Olympics.

Glad that you (and BC Hydro!) have a pair of Parolympic Opening Ceremony tix to spare! :)

I’m going to Sledge Hockey this Sunday with 19 on my co-workers! A block of 20 tickets is only $200 plus fees. Go Czechs Go!

I would love to go.. and have a g/f who has friends that are competing.. I think it would be an awesome surprise to be able to take her or give them to her! And good to know the Power Smart booth is still open.. I had a hard time justifying standing in all the line-ups before, so I just skipped lots of stuff.

Btw.. what do we RT.. I came to the blog direct this time?!

I went to the power smart house and found that there really wasn’t much to do there for adults. There was a power smart house that was descent but other than that most of the activities seemed to be for children. I guess it’s good for adults with children, which is a category I do not fall under.

Either way, it doesn’t change the relevance and importance of the message they are trying to spread so I’m all for it.

Hope I win the pair of tickets :)

Everyone at home is excited about the Paralympics. Hopefully, they will be as exciting as the Olympic Games. We will visit BC Hydro’s PowerSmart Village, for sure.
