I’m planning to go anyway, but free tix would be lovely. I volunteer with Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association, a registered non-profit that looks after feral cats and spays/neuters them, and gives kittens to loving homes. I spend my weekends looking after over 40 cats, feeding & cleaning up after them.

I wouldn’t know a life without volunteering. Currently involved with Twestival Victoria, Social Media Club Victoria, a local neighbourhood group, a local community day celebration planning committee, and the Vancouver Island Women’s Business Network, as well as the Victoria Francophone Society.

Ah yes, volunteering…I often overwhelm myself with volunteering, be it local committees for Planning related conferences, the Canadian Cancer society, mentoring future planners at UBC, and throwing my hat into the ring of any good cause.
