We’ll be protesting in Victoria at 11:40 am (corner of Blanshard & Johnson) in front of the BC Arts Council.

Don’t let the government separate us into camps – it is not “us” versus “them”.

We all enjoy music, outdoor festivals, theatre, dance, song, sculpture, art – in many forms and in many places.

It is shameful, in an Olympic year, at a time that our culture will be on a world stage just as much as our sports (think opening and closing ceremonies) that our government would choose to slash and burn!
