Sponsor J. Karen Parker for the 2009 Bicycle Trek for Life and Breath

If you want to know who first moved my blog to a self-hosted install, customized my website’s theme (this one) and helped me upgrade all my sites to the latest version of WordPress, that’d be J. Karen Parker. Information architecture maven, avid cyclist, synchro swimmer, sporty and a wonderful friend, Karen is someone who is always looking for ways to help people. This is just one of many.

This is the second year Karen does the Bicycle Trek for Life and Breath, and I am hoping some of my readers will be able to help her reach her fundraising goal. Karen’s donation page can be viewed here (you obviously can sponsor in any amount, every dollar helps).

If you want an added bonus, Karen will be providing 30 minutes of WordPress help in exchange for a $25 donation). Should you want my honest opinion, that’s a great deal. It’s for charity, and I can tell you that Karen has saved my WordPress life more times than I can count (she recently walked me through the manual upgrading of all my three sites). And more importantly, Karen is a very good friend of mine and she is doing this for charity, so please help if you can.
