Michelle (@seeking_balance) is also expecting! Though not till Jan 1 2010. Our friend over in Victoria is also pregnant and expecting near Oct 16th! Which they have also asked Robyn and I to be the god parents. Pretty neat though not sure what that entails really... Yeah, parenthood is awesome. I too wish I could get out and golf more, but most times when I have time to myself I just miss my son, so there you go.

You’re a natural around kids (ours sure seems to love you) so if you long to be a parenthood, go for it! I know you’re not the kind of guy to let convention or even biology get in the way of growing a family if you choose to.

Or, you could just borrow ours when you need an ankle-biting accessory for an event, etc

Agree with Arieanna...all kids need great Aunts and Uncles... But yeah....parenthood means less beer and meetups fer sure! I vaguely recall what a social life was... It’s true that being a parent does exclude you from getting out to many meetups, and I do get nostalgic about being able to head out for a round of golf without a second thought; but my kids are awesome, wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.

And the world always needs more great aunts and uncles
