I’m the Geek of the Week (The Georgia Straight)

I have been very fortunate in that I have been the focus of several interviews with various news/media outlets. I have always been very grateful for all the coverage I’ve received (on 24 Hrs Vancouver for the Michael Jackson/Twitter debacle, mentions of my contributions to Blogathon 2008 and the work I’ve done with Vancouver Bloggers Meetup, on The Georgia Straight for the work we did with Mental Health Camp and in general, my blogging experience). This week, I’m The Georgia Straight’s Geek of the Week and I am delighted that Stephen Hui (Tech Editor of TGS) was able to capture both my worlds (social media/tech and environment) in the same interview. Please follow this link for the interview. Thanks so much, Stephen! It was an absolute delight

Raul that is awesome! You’ll have to create a separate page to display all your publish interviews etc!

I’m in awe!

What was the “Michael Jackson/Twitter debacle”? I somehow missed it…. :-(

It was the fact that 9 out of 10 Twitter searches were on Michael Jackson (instead of focusing on Iran election or other issues)
