I will simply be unable to help if it’s in May. June I could handle. I have too many things happening right now.

And I’m deeply committed to the Unconference free model. I don’t see why there would have to be a charge for this, and charging by nature eliminates too many valuable people.

june it is! i think it’s a great compromise.

as for having it free, my vote is either sliding scale or waiving the fee for people who request it. in my experience, not charging anything means lots of no-shows on the day of, which can be a huge headache for the organizers.

It’s Vancouver; there are GOING to be a lot of no-shows anyway. Even pay in advance means no-shows. There’s something in the air here that causes it, I dunno.
