@ Tyler - Plurk can be a great conversation but it's really messy!

@ Cecily - And *that* is precisely my point - I never would get work done!

The thing I like best about Plurk is that it facilitates conversations. I've found that conversations flow a lot more naturally on Plurk than they do on Twitter (FriendFeed comes close).

The only thing I don't like about Plurk is it demands your constant attention. I'll never get any work done this way!

I signed up for Plurk but I agree there are far TOO many things to sign up with and follow. I mean twitter is good and it would be great if they can increase their network services so that it doesn't go down as much. I also like how I can run a twitter client on my desktop, or on my blackberry etc.

Plurk is interesting, nice GUI and such but I don't like how it reads from right to left. Having english as my primary language I read left to right, not right to left so following Plurk is a bit annoying. I submitted the idea of being able to change how it can be read (the time line) but I did not receive a response to my suggestion. I am sure others feel the same way. The neat feature is the conversation part of Plurk where instead of replying (like in twitter) to a person you add to their entry and it reads top to bottom.

I could see someone's time line being REALLY messy though if you had like 100+ followers and they were all updating their time lines constantly. Oh well.
