When you enjoy doing something that has the added benefit of getting you paid, building your reputation and/or winning friends, doing that activity for a long period of time every day is a natural thing. For most of human history, the vast majority of people worked from dawn until dusk at jobs that pretty much sustained their lives and that was it. There's a reason why the term "starving artist" is such a time-worn cliche. Now that better technology has enabled quite a few of us to do actually do what we want to do for a living or in our time off, it's not surprising that spoilers have added the term "-aholic" to all of the activities we just don't seem to want to get away from. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being a workaholic — or blogaholic — so long as you are doing something that you truly love to do.
